Our first stop on our European excursion was Munich to visit my brother. We spent a few days there checking out a bit more Munich during the fall. Munich is the autumn is an incredibly beautiful place, although maybe a bit chili. If you like good beer, watching football, or delicious mandeln with cinnamon, Munich should definitely be on your list of places to visit.

Hamburg

We didn't get to spend too much time in Hamburg, but we tried to check out as much as we could while there. This was a stopping point on our way to Copenhagen and to visit family. Another city that is beautiful in the fall and has an variety of wonderful architecture. St. Pauli's liberal and colorful ideas puts Amsterdam's 'Red Light District' to shame. I particular enjoyed the vibe in the old port district. I'll definitely be back in Hamburg.
